We will soon be bringing two beautiful rescued Jicarilla geldings to Cortez.  THESE TWO GELDINGS NEED NAMES!  We need your help in coming up with a name!  If you know someone that might also like to join in, please spread the word.  

Through this fundraiser, we will be learning about their personalities.  As we gain knowledge updates will be posted.  

They were originally trained in the Mustang Challenge and are now 6 years old.  The bay seems curious and spirited.  The pinto is adjusting but seems like he will settle in to be a mellow guy.

Our goal is $500.00 for each mustang with a $10.00 minimum asking donation.  Funds raised help towards the cost of veterinary care, ferrier care, ongoing care, training and placement to their new home.  Donations can be made through the NMACO.org website.  When making a donation, add the Name a Mustang name in the memo line and specify if it is for the bay or the pinto mustang.  Information will also be posted on the website and Facebook.  

All names entered will be summarized for the NMACO Directors to select the winning name. 

Look to find other volunteer opportunities to aid in their care and preparation for the future (feeding, watering, mucking and habituation).  Once they are relocated to Cortez the volunteer schedule can be posted.
